    I’ve tried three or four different brands (store brands and no-name) in search of the best price. I found out the hard way that with this ol’ printer (Stylus 740i), the Epson inks are the most reliable and last longest. The other ink cartridges biggest drawback was lifespan. I think it’s because I ended up wasting ink doing regular – almost daily, in some cases – cleaning clogged nozzles! At this point, I can’t get it anywhere locally at a lower price, so Amazon was the best choice on that count also.
